Prost disturbs Suissa
The compositions of David Suissa revisited by the saxophonist Eric Prost with a group of musicians improvisers XXL out of standard!

A creation-residence, in May 2018 to adapt the arrangements of Eric Prost. Then 2/3 concerts filmed in June and July @ Crescent Jazz Club Macon and Jazz in Vienna on July 1st.
Then recording at the studio of the Maison des artistes in September 2018 in Chamonix, then the release of the disc and a tour in April 2019.

ERIC PROST Bio
Gold Medal and advanced prize at the National Conservatory of Dijon, Eric Prost is among the founders of the Crescent Jazz Club and Collectif Mu,
with whom he wins in nonet, in 1995 and 1996, the Talent Jazz Prize in Vienna and the Jazz competition at La Défense. He played in Syria and West Africa commissioned by the AFAA,
which lead him to Senegal, Mali, Benin, Mauritania, Sudan …
In 2000, Wynton Marsalis selects four musicians on the basis of their records for the creation of a special quintet at Jazz in Marciac.
Eric is one of those, alongside Olivier Temime, Franck Avitabile and Sylvain Luc. He is again the guest in 2005 of Wynton Marsalis quartet and the Orchestra of the CNR of Toulouse.
He played with Amazing big band keystone, Eric Lann, Christian Vander, Steve Grossman and many others.
SUISSA Bio
Coming from the Lyonnaise rock scene and a jazz guitar course, writing in counterpoint and electro-acoustic composition of L’ENM de Villeurbanne and Aimra,
he learned Indian percussion in Vanarasi, rubbed Brazilian music in Baia and Maloya in Reunion during his various tours.
A pioneer of the Afro-Maloya French song, he is also the founder of the Label Chante et tais toi which produces Jazz, world music and song
– The Grotorkestre, The grand cousin’s ball, Kousmine Pichon, Leitmotiv Blastik Pertran, Suissa , Yann Pairel.
He has composed a hundred works for contemporary music groups, dance, documentaries, song, fanfares and jazz.
